Haul Post!!

I have to admit.... I buy ALOT more nail polish than I post on here, but I want to get in the habit of posting my hauls :)

First of all... Has anyone seen and actually used it???

Because I have used it and I love the consistency so far!! I googled my butt off and I could not find a review!! Help me out people! After using it a bit longer I will provide a review as well :)

Here are my Valentine's Day Nails :)

They are the new LE Sally Hansen Salon Effects in Love Always.

I have to admit that 90% of the reason I bought these is for the french sayings on them. (I am obsessed with France) Unfortunately, they are too big to fit on one nail completely. But it says je t'aime ( I love you) and Amore (love) plus other english sayings in various fonts on a white background.

It looks awesome and I actually like having valentine's nails this way :)

Mom Monday Cheetah Nails!!

I am slowly teaching my mom the way to position your hand for a good picture!! You can see her progress :)

This was her New Year's Mani, it matched her shirt perfectly!! She got tons of complements too and got to brag about me and my little blog ;)

Yes, my mom wears shirts like this..... 

This one really shows the multi colored effect of the holo sparkles !!

This is two coats of Pure Ice Best Friend, with Sally Hansen Black Diamond tips. I stamped over it with Zoya Codie using m57. And then my mom needed her glitter (Wet n Wild Megalast Dasher),

I was pretty surprised how light Codie stamped, but I really liked it in the end.

I'm A Frock Star!!

I love Sally Hansen Nail Effects. In fact, I buy wayyy too many and wear less than I wish I did. A friend bought me these way back when they first came out and I am just getting around to wearing it. I have used these about three times before so they are pretty easy to apply now, but for tips and full info click here to see All Lacquered Up's article from when they first came out.

This is it in Frock Star. Here it is the day I put them on....

I did put a top coat on (DONT USE SECHE VITE) but not a quick drying one. I used Seche Vite the first time and I wondered why they curled up on the edges so quickly.... it was Seche's fault haha. The strips however do not require a top coat. 

And here they are after 10 days. (Sorry for the crappy phone picture)

It basically looked perfect!!! It may have been because of the glitter, and the 'clear' base let it look a lot more forgiving. I was just bored out of my mind

And in case you wondered... this was a PITA to remove just like a real glitter. 

Do you like the Nail effects like I do?? I wish there was a cheaper version without the file and stick haha

First Franken :)

This was the first 'franken' I ever tried!!! To be honest, its really not a franken... more of a way to save one of my sally hansen magicals :)

I used polish thinner to get all the dried remnants of the magical out (bad ebay purchase haha). And added the wet n wild dark purple to it.

I ended up using WAY too much purple (first franken, remember?) so I added some of the spectraflair holo topcoat that I had.

Inside, not much holo, but a pretty color!

And outside!! 

It is a very slight linear holo, but I really love the subtle effect it gives. Like a secret that I know and no one else :)

I named it Lena after the main character in one of my favorite book series, Beautiful Creatures. She is very unassuming like this polish, but has a hidden beautiful secret ;) Deep, I know haha.

Day 21- Inspired by a Color

Today I chose to be inspired by the Color Blue.

I started by putting two coats of Respect the World (matte) by Nicole by OPI.

Then I added nail art on my thumbs with Curaco by Sephora.

Squirrel!!! 

I left my fingers all matte except for my thumb with I added Seche Vite to.

The Polishes I used. L-R: ChG Life Preserver, Black on Black by Sinful Nail colors, White On by Sally Hansen and Curaco by Sephora.

Day 20 - Water Marbled

Okay don't be mad, but I have neither the time nor the resources to do a water marble in my dorm room! So here is my only water marble I have ever done, and I know I have shown it before.... but its the best I can do.

 I put a layer of White On by Sally Hansen before the water marble. 

I used Ruby Ruby by Sinful Nail colors (Red) and Fly away by Sinful Nail Colors (blue) for the water marble. 

Don't worry tomorrow will make up for today!!

Day 19 - Galaxies!!

AHH!! Its my birthday :D

I have never done galaxies before either, mainly because I felt like it looked like a lot of work. Now, I realize its really quite easy! And I am glad this was my birthday one because I love it!!

I started with a coat of Black on Black by Sinful Nail Colors. 

Then for an added bonus added Fantasy makers Glow in the Dark.

It looks pretty cool on its own here!

Then I dabbed on CND effects in Raspberry Sparkle, Crimson Sparkle, Gold Sparkle, and Jade Sparkle.

Then, to make the stars, I put a top coat over the entire nail with Twinkle, Twinkle by Sally Hansen. That was perfect because it had small square glitter and larger hexagon glitter to make the stars! 

I love it!!! I am actually still wearing it too! I want to do a lot of different galaxies now!

Day 15 - Delicate Print

Oops my scheduling didn't work.... So prepare yourself for three posts in one day!!

Surprisingly this day has been the hardest for me to come up with....

 I started with two coats of Stiletto by Jessie's Girl. This was another buy influenced by Nouveau Cheap's blog.

It is a 'nude' that has a wonderful silver shimmer! I say 'nude' because my skin is so pale, nudes look like beige/mauve on me. 

Then I added stamp m80 with Sally Hansen's White On. 

 

I love this design and color combo, but I don't know how delicate it is.... but this is what I think of when I think delicate. haha :)

Day 7 - Black and White

Okay today's nails started out with an awesome idea and kinda turned into a fail. However, I would probably still wear it.
I started with two coats of Sally Hansen White out. And my plan was to stamp piano print on it in black.... but it would not transfer!!! AHH! I want that stamp to work sooo bad. I have not given up yet!!

So instead I used... plate m22

Yeah ignore that it is upside-down. I actually made them all look different like that. I dont know why that would seem like a good idea, but it looked like I had shaky hands while stamping.... idk. 

If i did this mani again I would put them all in the same direction.... probably like my middle finger diagonally. 

So what do you think??? Fail or okay??
